The journey begins with a visit to the picturesque village of Castle Combe, often described as one of the most beautiful villages in England. Upon arrival, you’ll have free time to explore this charming destination at your leisure. Wander through its peaceful lanes lined with traditional stone cottages, admire the historic church, and take in the scenic surroundings that have made this village a favourite for film sets and photographers alike.
After your time in Castle Combe, the trip continues to the elegant city of Bath, known for its rich Roman history and graceful Georgian architecture. You’ll have free time to discover the city’s highlights on your own. You may wish to visit the stunning Bath Abbey, walk along the iconic Royal Crescent and The Circus, enjoy riverside views near Pulteney Bridge, or relax in one of the local cafes. For those interested, the Roman Baths offer a fascinating glimpse into the city’s ancient past (entry not included). After exploring this historic and vibrant city, the group will begin the return journey.
