Your journey heads north towards the Lake District. The first highlight of the day is Ambleside, a picturesque lakeside town where you can enjoy a leisurely walk, take photos, and soak in the local charm. From there, the route continues to Aira Force Waterfall on the shores of Ullswater, where a gentle forest walk leads to the impressive waterfall, offering excellent photo opportunities and fresh air. The day concludes with a scenic drive through the Coniston or Hawkshead area before arriving at your accommodation where the evening is free for relaxation and dinner.

After breakfast at your hotel, begin the day with a visit to Castlerigg Stone Circle, an ancient site over 5,000 years old, surrounded by dramatic landscapes and steeped in myth. Spend time exploring the stone circle and capturing photos of the stunning surroundings. From there, travel to Grasmere Village, celebrated by poet William Wordsworth as the “loveliest spot that man hath found.” Here, you can visit Dove Cottage (entrance fee not included), sample the famous Grasmere Gingerbread, or enjoy a peaceful walk along the River Rothay. The final highlight of the day is Bowness-on-Windermere, where you can have a relaxing lunch followed by a scenic cruise on Lake Windermere, not included in your package, taking in the breathtaking views from the water. After a day of exploring these beautiful locations, return to your hotel where the evening is free for relaxation or dinner at your leisure.

After checking out from your hotel, drive through the Western Lake District to visit Buttermere and Crummock Water, two of the region’s most scenic lakes, perfect for short walks and photos. From here, head south-east to Kendal, a historic market town where you can enjoy lunch and a brief stroll through the cobbled streets. After your visit, continue the journey continue the journey on the back to original pickup point
