Green Bursa Tour
Just a few hours from Istanbul lies Bursa, the first capital of the Ottoman Empire and a city where history and nature blend seamlessly. Known as “Green Bursa” for its lush surroundings, this city is home to centuries-old mosques, vibrant markets, and breathtaking mountain views.
Your day begins with a hotel pickup and a scenic ferry ride across the Sea of Marmara to Yalova, followed by a coach transfer to Bursa. Along the way, stop at a Turkish Delight factory to taste and shop for the city’s famous sweets.
In Bursa, you’ll visit the Green Mosque and Green Tomb, remarkable 15th-century landmarks commissioned by Sultan Çelebi Mehmet. You’ll also explore Koza Han, the historic Silk Market built in 1451, once a center of the global silk trade and now a great place to shop for souvenirs.
The highlight of the day is a cable car ride up Mount Uludağ, offering sweeping views over forests and valleys. On the mountain, enjoy a delicious barbecue lunch with a soft drink in the fresh alpine air. The tour also includes a stop at the legendary 600-year-old plane tree, a natural wonder and a symbol of Bursa.
In the evening, you’ll return to Istanbul by coach and ferry, with hotel drop-off included.
