Ventnor
Our first stop is the charming seaside town of Ventnor, nestled beneath the steep Undercliff. With its Victorian character, mild microclimate, and beautiful coastal scenery, Ventnor is ideal for a relaxing stroll and photography.
Sandown
Next, we head to Sandown, a lively resort town with a long sandy beach, traditional seafront, and charming esplanade. Guests can enjoy a relaxed seaside atmosphere and take in the coastal views before moving on.
Shanklin
We then continue to Shanklin, where we will give the group enough time to explore on foot. From the hotel, Shanklin Old Village and Shanklin Chine are within walking distance, so you can enjoy the historic thatched cottages, tea rooms, and the picturesque gorge at your own pace. Those who wish can also take a short walk down to Shanklin Beach to soak up the sea air in the evening before returning to the hotel in Shanklin for overnight stay.

Compton Bay
After breakfast, we set off for Compton Bay, a peaceful spot on the island’s southwest coast known for its wide sandy beach, fossil-rich cliffs, and colourful sandstone formations. It is perfect for a refreshing walk and coastal views.
The Needles
Next, we visit the island’s most iconic landmark – The Needles, located at the westernmost tip of the Isle of Wight. Here, you can admire the striking white chalk stacks rising from the sea, visit the Needles Landmark attraction, and enjoy optional activities such as the chairlift ride, glassmaking demonstration, or boat trip (entry costs apply).
Then we begin our return journey towards London with drop-offs in Southall, Wembley, and Ilford.
